Ms Amy Fung Dun Mi, MH, JP, RSW, is Chief Executive Officer of World Vision Hong Kong. With more than three decades of experience in social service, youth development, mental health rehabilitation, social enterprise and humanitarian relief, she brings rich cross-sector leadership experience to her role as Professional Mentor of the EdUHK Honours College.
Since joining World Vision Hong Kong in February 2021, Ms Fung has led the organisation’s fundraising and development work to support children and families affected by poverty, hunger, disasters, conflict and other fragile circumstances. Before joining World Vision, she served as Chief Executive Officer of New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, where she advanced rehabilitation services and employment opportunities for people in recovery from mental illness. Earlier in her career, she spent many years at The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, leading professional and innovative services that promoted the holistic development and wellbeing of young people.
Ms Fung is actively engaged in public affairs and has served on a number of statutory and advisory bodies, including the Medical Council, the Communications Authority, the Consumer Council, the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund Committee, the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education and the Commission on Youth. She now serves as School Supervisor of Fortress Hill Methodist Secondary School and as a member of the school management committees of Wa Ying College and North Point Methodist Primary School. She has also served on the Council of the Hong Kong Social Workers Association and the Hong Kong Red Cross. In recognition of her long-standing public service, she was awarded the Medal of Honour in 2015 and appointed as a Justice of the Peace in 2020.
Ms Fung holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Social Science, and is a registered social worker in Hong Kong. Through her mentoring role, she hopes to share her experience in values-driven leadership, service and social innovation with emerging young leaders.
