Self-recommendation

Students can apply directly by submitting an online application form, together with the required supporting documents (i.e. academic proof, personal statement, curriculum vitae and a letter of recommendation by supervisors or programme leaders).
Students may be nominated by academic and teaching staff based on outstanding achievements. Nominated students are also required to submit the same online application form along with the required supporting documents (i.e. academic proof, personal statement, curriculum vitae and a letter of recommendation by supervisors or programme leaders).
A total of 20 students is expected for the pilot cohort of the 2025/26.
The selection panel(s) comprising relevant members from the Working Group on the Establishment of Honours College will conduct a comprehensive review on the applicants’
i. Academic Performance
ii. Non-academic Achievement / Participation
iii. Personal Statement
iv. Recommendation from Supervisors & Programme Leaders (for academic talents); and pathway co-ordinators & relevant staff (for non-academic talents), if applicable
