HC students are expected to contribute to and fulfil the following obligations to the University in return for the extra support for their development journey:
1. Role Models and Peer Mentors
HC students will contribute to the university community as inspiring role models and peer mentors, exemplifying academic excellence, leadership, and social responsibility to motivate their peers and foster a culture of excellence and aspiration across the university community.
2. Ambassadors
HC students are expected to represent the University in key events, produce videos and digital portfolios to share/showcase achievements and transformative experience.
3. Commitment to complete the journey of the Honours College
To sign the undertaking form as a formal commitment to their obligations and to satisfactorily complete the curriculum and graduation requirements;
To participate in the Pledging Ceremony is mandatory, symbolising their commitment to the Honours College values; and
To participate actively and attend fully in key Honours College events, such as the Inaugural Ceremony cum Gathering with the President.
** If students fail to fulfil the obligations or are not able to satisfactorily complete the curriculum requirements of the Honours College, the University reserves the rights not to grant the Honours Scholarship and/or Honours Sponsorship or to revoke the status as HC students. **
