To maintain the high academic standards of the Honours College and ensure ongoing transformation, HC students are required to submit a progress report at the end of each semester. HC Students must obtain a satisfactory report from the Honours College supervisors to be eligible for progression. Honours College supervisors are recommended to consult and collect reports or supporting evidences from other relevant colleagues (e.g. Warden) and external parties (e.g. internship mentor) in recommending the students for progression. All HC students must adhere to the retention policies outlined below:
- Major/Programme GPA Requirement
HC students must maintain a Major/Programme GPA of at least 3.30 after enrolling in the Honours College. In case an HC student’s Major/Programme GPA falls below 3.30 for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer semester), their status as HC students may be revoked. - Attendance and Residential Requirement
* Students successfully completing IMPACT Training can be exempted from taking Cross-faculty Core Course.
^ IMPACT Training includes (i) IMPACT Training I, (ii) IMPACT Training II, and (iii) IMPACT Leadership Training.
